This marks local indie start-up hip-hop label Brick Records’ 15th year in the business of launching talented local rappers. Since getting under way in 1996, the little-label-that-could has risen to heights of relative international acclaim, signing artists like Moe Pope, East Coast Avengers, and 1982 — all of whom will be in top form tonight at the Brick Records 15TH Anniversary Showcase, along with Blacastan, DJ Deadeye, City Slickers, and a lot more.
