The Black Lips + Vivian Girls
Hard-partying Atlanta garage-rockers the Black Lips play loose-limbed, raw-boned, messy, flower-punk stuff that can be as cacophonous as it is melodic. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Their rambling, winkingly-self-aware Southern rock was made to be listened to with a sweating can of beer in hand and 10 more in the cooler.
