Spose: It's all a joke

It’s every band’s dream, really: DEAD SEASON have secured a JAGERMEISTER sponsorship. We assume that means free Jager? Anyway, they’ve also got “The Depression” added to 106.3 THE BONE, which, to our knowledge, is the first local band that’s been in rotation on the new rock station. Next up is a gig supporting KORN, May 8, at the Colisee.

So, we’re a little pissy we weren’t allowed to break that SPOSE-singing-with-RICKY MARTIN story. Wait. What’s that? It was an April Fool’s joke? We didn’t believe it for a second. But he is in VIBE.

The STEREO FLYS, fronted by JEFF BEAM, has finished up their debut album, Hello Greetings from a Bunker, and expect to release it later this month or in early May. It was recorded in Boston by ANDY ABRAHAMSON at STUDIO EIGHT, on analog tape, and was mastered by DON GROSSINGER, who has mastered work by Brian Wilson (including SMiLE) and the Flaming Lips. The record will be released on vinyl, as well as on CD and digitally.
