Q&A #10: Will Scotto Go For The Gay?

Oh great, right after my blatantly homophobia-laced Scott Brown comments, here's a question from the great gay-rights advocate and reporter Laura Kiritsy:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein has filed a bill in the Senate to repeal the odious Defense of Marriage Act, better known as DOMA. Sen. Kerry is cosponsoring the bill and yesterday published an op-ed in Bay Windows calling for DOMA's repeal. Do you think Sen. Scott Brown will follow Kerry's lead on this?

First of all, kudos to Kerry, who's really come up big on this issue in my opinion. Second, kudos to Laura for the use of "odious," one of my favorite words.

And, I suppose, kudos to Scotto for being significantly less hostile to homosexuals than has been his historical practice. But no, I can't imagine he's going to jump this far into the rainbow agenda -- never mind that polls are now showing a majority of Americans, let alone homo-friendly Bay Staters, backing gay marriage.

If nothing else, it would be an accounting nightmare sifting out all the $25 contributions being demanded back by angry FOX-watchers across the country.
