You’ll never see a cuter donkey than the one Nick Bottom turns into in Boston Ballet’s production of George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night's Dream. And with its clear-cut story line and grown-up romances (we’re not even counting Nick the donkey and fairy queen Titania), this is an ideal introduction to ballet for adults as well as kids — besides which, it has Felix Mendelssohn’s luscious score.
