Hilarious. That's all you need to know about DeathSpank, the action RPG that packed even more punchlines than punches — and it packed a whole lot of punches. Players could explore deep dialogue trees that piled the gags so high, you couldn't see over them. Chaotic, button-mashing combat wasn't especially deep, but it sure was satisfying to unleash one of DeathSpank's devastating combo powers. A deal at any price, the $15 downloadable title was surely the year's best bargain.
