[video] Doomstar! plays "Sea Gull" at the band's last show ever
On Sunday night, local garage rock trio DOOMSTAR! played its last show ever at the Middlesex Lounge. Fans and friends filled the room with unbridled enthusiasm, dancing, jumping and shouting along with every song -- a testament to the energy that Doomstar! has continously pumped into Boston's DIY show spaces, and music community in general. Above, check out a video of the band playing a slower track, "Sea Gull," shot by Loroto. We are bummed to lose one of Boston's tightest, most energetic psych-rock bands, but word on the street (read: Facebook) is that frontman Spenser Gralla and drummer Noah Bond will still be working on a record for late fall. Bassist Jeff Johnson also plays with HUNNIE BUNNIES, who played Weirdstalk Three on Sunday as well.
