@MassDPH: "This you?" Massachusetts Department of Public Health account infected by Twitter virus

This morning, the social-media bible Mashable reported on yet another of those annoying Twitter bugs -- a "large-scale phishing attack" in which a message that says "This you???" prompts users to enter their Twitter passwords on a fake Twitter login page.

Sure enough, we had two such messages waiting for us in our inbox. One was from the neo-Americana group HEM.

The other was from @MassDPH: that's right, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Thankfully, we are not in the habit of clicking on obvious spam. We can only hope that the MassDPH's 2000 followers are as smart -- or at least have security as good as ours, which blocks the link as a "web forgery."

In their defense: We alerted the MassDPH via DM and got a response within minutes which read, "Thank you for the heads up! We are working on getting it fixed ASAP."

In the meantime, if you've failed to heed those warnings and been infected by your state's Twitter feed, fear not: Mass DPH just posted some awesome advice on how to pick a multivitamin that's right for YOU.
